The Annual POM Event Is Again Held; The Indonesian Literature Study Program sends Representatives in POM Race University

Every year POM (Student Sports Week) is here to hone the talents of Udayana University students. On  May 30, 2022 POM Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University was implemented. There are several competitions held, such as Mobile Legends, PUBG Mobile, chess, table tennis, solo vocals, group vocals, futsal, and jegeg-bagus as the highlight of the event. All study programs in the Faculty of Cultural Sciences participated in the activity, including the Indonesian Literature Study Program. Students of the Indonesian Literature Study Program participated in enlivening the activity by participating in various sports that were contested.

The first competition was Mobile Legends, which was carried out after the opening and continued with debriefing I. On the second day of May 31, 2022, followed by the final round of competition, followed by debriefing II. The students who took part in this competition consisted of Sofianto, Fazlur Rahman, Fikram Jauzaa, Fahrurrozy, students of class 2020 and Ida Bagus Kusdi Putra and Todo Tua Sijabat students of class 2021. Program Studi Sastra Indonesia won third place.  It is a proud thing  for program stuin Indonesian Literature.

“I am very happy to be able to participate in this year's POM Cabor Mobile Legends. I gained a lot of experience and how  to work together a solid team so that I can get a satisfactory end result. I hope that in the future POM will be better and can produce talents hidden in students.” Said one of the Mobile Legend participants representing Indonesian Literature.

The enthusiasm of Indonesian Literature students in enlivening the POM event was also seen in the PUBG Mobile competition, which was held on June 2, 2022. Sastra Indonesia sent four people as representatives, batch 2020 and batch 2021 dalam this competition.

Friday, June0, 3, 2022, held two competitions at once, namely chess and table tennis. In the chess competition, it was represented by students of the class of 2020 Maria Delwin. The table tennis competition was represented by students of the 20th batch of 21, namely Todo Tua Sangapan Sijabat and Moh. Bahrul Islam.

No less interesting is also the competition held on Saturday, June 4, 2022, namely the solo vocal and vocal group competitions.  Located in Dr. Priyono Room, Fourth Floor, Prof. Poerbatjaraka Building, Faculty of Humanities. This competition was streamed via SMFIB Unud Youtube. The vocal group consists of five students, Sutondu Mada and Nur Indah Hidayati batch 2020, Cheryll Adinda Nugraha, Adelyna Selviana Anggrini, Given Rhaemartiano Wicaksono batch 2021. The exercises were conducted as many as seven meetings in three weeks. The solo vocal competition was represented by Sartika Lingga, a student of batch 2021.



Futsal Competition

The futsal competition will be held twice on 05 – 06 June 2022. This competition took place in freedom futsal area, South Kuta. Futsal representatives consist of batch 2020 and batch 2021.


Jegeg Good Representative

The jegeg bagus competition is also the closing of the POM Faculty of Humanities 2022 event. Indonesian literature sent Fazlur Rahman from the class of 2020 as good and Made Melatisna Ardhaswari from the class of 2021 as jegeg. The event was conducted in three meetings. The first day of June 11, 2022, jegeg's presentation was good. Participants jegeg bagus representatives of Indonesian Literature presented a satisfactory presentation.  On  June 13, 2022 participants displayed their interests and talents. Participants of jegeg Sastra Indonesia performed a beautiful dance coupled with a game of rindik musical instruments. Participants are good at displaying monologues coupled with raps in them. The achievements made by jegeg representatives and good Indonesian Literature are also very proud.


POM Peak

Wednesday, June 15, 2022, the highlight of the 2022 student sports week events, namely the grand final and closing.  Jegeg Sastra Indonesia Made Melatisna Ardhaswari, entered the top five.  Jegeg bagus Sastra Indonesia won the winner of the best talent  attribute in the jegeg and bagus category, the champion of the best presenter  attribute in the good category, the champion of the favorite attribute in the jegeg and bagus category, the 2nd runner up in the good category.

“I feel quite happy to participate in this event, in addition to getting new learnings and new friends, of course, it is also a very extraordinary experience. Training mentally and public speaking which is certainly very useful in the future.” The impression given by Melatisna was a jegeg participant of the Indonesian Literature Study Program in 2022.  “Never be afraid to try, because the opportunity doesn't come many times.” he continued.


Even though in the sport of Indonesian Literature does not get many champions, but it does not make Indonesian Literature pessimistic in other fields. It is proven in the competition of good jegeg who achieved satisfactory results.

It is worth being proud of good jegeg representatives who are able to compete and obtain satisfactory results. Hopefully, on the next occasion, representatives of the Stu Program in Indonesian Literature will be able to produce a champion and of course bring the good name of the Indonesian Literature Study Program to be better known by the public.
