This year's national webinar carries the theme "Reading (-Repeating) Literature involved" which was attended by approximately 134 participants and presents two competent speakers in the field of literature. The first speaker was Okky Madasari, PhD., A writer, sociologist, and famous writer. He brought material entitled "The Sprouting Not Certainly Gold". Followed by the second speaker, Dr. Cahyaningrum Dewojati, M. Hum., Lecturer of Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program, FIB UGM. He brought material entitled "If the Voice of the People is no longer heard, literature against words".

The Chairperson of the Pekan Sastra 2024, Sastya Himawari, expressed his views related to the importance of raising the theme of the literary webinar that was involved, "Because, in the current era, many forget literature, especially in Indonesia. Even literature is no longer considered important, even though literature is one of the cultures that must be preserved. Even during yesterday's election campaign, no one discussed literature. Literary works such as goods were present but lay just like that between devices, statistical data, political news, and other calculative items that were more convincing for modern society. Literature is a kind of loss of power to convince the public that he is truly able to present the core of life that is usually escaped from observation. Of course, this is not intended to nullify the existence of literary works, but it seems that the Indonesian literature landscape is currently on the periphery of determining our social life. "
