INTER-UNIVERSITY RESEARCH AND PUBLICATION COLLABORATION HELD AT UNDIKSHA POSTGRADUATE PROGRAM
Singaraja, April 24, 2026 — The Indonesian Literature Study Program of Udayana University initiated an Inter-University Research and Publication Collaboration held at the Postgraduate Program of Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) on Friday (24/4/2026). This activity was carried out in collaboration with the Department of Regional Language and Literature Education, Faculty of Language and Arts (FBS), Undiksha.
The activity, which was packaged in the form of a Focus Group Discussion (FGD), featured four keynote speakers from two institutions. From the Indonesian Literature Study Program of Udayana University, the speakers were Prof. Dr. I Wayan Pastika, M.S. and Prof. Dr. Drs. I Ketut Sudewa, M.Hum. Meanwhile, from the Department of Regional Language and Literature Education, FBS Undiksha, the speakers were Ade Asih Susiari Tantri, S.Pd., M.Pd. and Dr. I Dewa Gede Budi Utama, S.Pd., M.Hum. The discussion was moderated by I Putu Ari Putra Maulana, S.S., M.A. and Jalu Norva Illa Putra, S.S., M.A., who facilitated the sessions in parallel while addressing strategic issues in the fields of language and literature.
The event was officially opened by the Head of the Regional Language and Literature Education Study Program, FBS Undiksha, Dr. I Wayan Artika, S.Pd., M.Hum., and the Head of the Indonesian Literature Study Program, Udayana University, I Gusti Ayu Agung Mas Triadnyani, S.S., M.Hum. In their remarks, both emphasized the importance of inter-university collaboration in enhancing the quality of research and academic publications, particularly in the fields of language and literature, which continue to evolve alongside social and cultural dynamics.
The main objectives of this activity are as follows:
1. To build academic networks among universities.
2. To initiate collaborative research among lecturers and researchers.
3. To improve the quality and quantity of scientific publications.
4. To identify current issues in language and literature studies.
5. To formulate follow-up plans in the form of collaborative research and joint publications.
During the discussion sessions, the speakers presented various perspectives on the development of linguistic and literary studies, including opportunities for interdisciplinary research and strategies for publishing in reputable journals. Participants, consisting of lecturers and academics from both institutions, actively contributed by sharing insights and research experiences.
Through this activity, it is expected that sustainable synergy will be established between the Indonesian Literature Study Program of Udayana University and the Department of Regional Language and Literature Education, FBS Undiksha. This collaboration is also expected to produce tangible outputs such as joint research proposals, scientific articles, and strengthened academic capacity in the fields of language and literature.
The event concluded with the formulation of follow-up plans, including the development of collaborative research topics and a commitment to joint publications at both national and international levels.
