Closing Ceremony of the 2025 Cultural Visit Program of Kanto International High School at Universitas Udayana
The Indonesian Literature Study Program and the Indonesian Language Program for Foreign Speakers (BIPA), Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Udayana, held the Closing Ceremony of the 2025 Cultural Visit Program of Kanto International High School, Japan on Saturday, 23 August 2025, at 5:00 PM (WITA), at Jimbaran by Seafood, Kedonganan. This event was conducted as an official marker of the completion of the entire series of cultural visit activities, which had taken place over approximately three weeks.
The closing ceremony was led directly by the Coordinator of the Indonesian Literature Study Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Udayana, Dr. I Gusti Ayu Agung Mas Triadnyani, S.S., M.Hum. In her remarks, she expressed her deep appreciation to all participants, accompanying teachers, and the organizing committee who had contributed significantly to the successful implementation of the 2025 Cultural Visit Program. She also emphasized her hope that the academic and cultural cooperation between the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Udayana, and Kanto International High School, Japan, would continue and further develop in the future as part of strengthening educational and cultural relations between Indonesia and Japan.
The warm and friendly atmosphere of the event was further enhanced by remarks from the representative of Kanto International High School, Ms. Yumiko, who served as an accompanying teacher. In her speech, she conveyed her sincere gratitude for the warm hospitality extended by Universitas Udayana and expressed her appreciation for the dedication and hard work of the organizing committee in preparing and implementing the entire program in a well-structured manner. Her remarks were followed by an impression and reflection delivered by Karina, one of the student representatives from Kanto International High School, who enthusiastically shared her valuable experiences during the cultural visit program conducted from 3 August to 23 August 2025. She highlighted that the program provided profound insights into the Indonesian language, culture, and social life.
The closing ceremony continued with the presentation of commemorative souvenirs as a symbol of friendship, mutual appreciation, and institutional commitment to cooperation. The event concluded with a communal dinner, held in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere along the Jimbaran beachfront. This moment not only served as a memorable conclusion to the program but also strengthened the interpersonal bonds formed throughout the activities.
Overall, the Closing Ceremony of the 2025 Cultural Visit Program of Kanto International High School, Japan officially marked the conclusion of the cultural exchange activities, while simultaneously serving as a foundation for stronger and more sustainable cooperation between Kanto International High School, Japan and the BIPA Program and the Indonesian Literature Study Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Udayana, in the future.
