Ahead of the FIBAA Site Visit, UP3M FIB Unud Holds Preparation Meeting for FIBAA Cluster 1 Simulation
On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, the Unit for Learning Development and Quality Assurance (UP3M) of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Udayana University (FIB Unud), held a preparation meeting for the FIBAA simulation for Cluster 1, which includes the Faculty of Cultural Sciences. The event took place in the Ir. Soekarno Room, Poerbatjaraka Building, FIB Unud. The meeting was attended by the entire FIBAA Team of FIB Unud, which consists of three study programs—Indonesian Literature, English Literature, and Japanese Literature—as well as representatives of alumni, lecturers, and students from each program, educational staff appointed as site-visit representatives, the head of UP2M, and the coordinators of the three study programs.
The event was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Udayana University, represented on this occasion by the Vice Dean for Academic and Planning Affairs, Dr. I Gede Oeinada, S.S., M.Hum. In his remarks, he provided an overview of the upcoming FIBAA site visit, scheduled for June 25–26, 2025. He also outlined the achievements made so far and reminded the team to ensure all preparations are in place, including administrative readiness, documentation, and facilities.
The meeting featured three speakers, each delivering material related to the FIBAA site visit preparations. The session was moderated by the Head of UP3M, Dr. Ni Ketut Widhiarcani Matradewi, S.S., M.Hum. The first speaker, Prof. Dr. Ni Luh Nyoman Seri Malini, S.S., M.Hum., a member of the FIBAA Team for the English Literature Study Program and PIC from LP3M, presented material on the timeline and detailed schedule of the visitation, including the event rundown and the assignment of responsibilities.
The second speaker, Dr. I Gusti Ayu Agung Mas Triadnyani, S.S., M.Hum., a FIBAA national expert and Coordinator of the Indonesian Literature Study Program, delivered a technical presentation on facilities and infrastructure supporting the visitation at FIB. She also detailed the activities during the site visit, potential issues to anticipate, and specific preparations required, particularly for the visit at the Nias Campus, including room layouts and supporting resources.
The third speaker, Prof. Dr. Dra. I Gusti Ayu Gde Sosiowati, M.A., a member of the FIBAA Team for the English Literature Program and Chair of the English Literature Task Force, discussed the interview instruments and strategies for interview preparation. She explained the content participants need to understand and prepare, as well as the importance of aligning responses—especially regarding the learning process at FIB—to ensure consistency. She also provided an overview of the expected interview formats for alumni and administrative staff so that each representative can prepare effectively.
To close the presentations, the Head of UP3M also shared information regarding the Self Evaluation Report (SER), which is a key document in the preparation process. Overall, the meeting aimed to prepare the team for the next phase, namely the FIBAA site visit simulation, which will take place in the near future. Through this activity, participants are expected to gain a clear understanding of who will be present and what needs to be done on the day of the visit. Unlike previous meetings that discussed general matters, this meeting focused on specific aspects based on the site-visit plan designed by Udayana University and applied specifically to its academic community. The meeting concluded with a discussion and Q&A session, followed by a group photo.
