The Indonesian Literature Undergraduate Study Program Conducts a Public Lecture with Prof. Dr. Koh Young Hun University
Monday, August 15, 2022, a public lecture activity has
taken place. This event is the result of collaboration between the Indonesian Literature
Study Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Udayana University and Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. Located
at the Widya Sabha Mandala Auditorium, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Udayana
University, at 09.30 WITA. The theme discussed in this activity is "Utilization of Affective AI Chatbots in Indonesian Learning. " The participants who attended
were sixty-nine people. Among them are five representatives from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, nineteen
lecturers from the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University, and forty-five
students.

Introduction
This Public Lecture event was organized by a Lecturer of
Indonesian Literature, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Pastika, M.S. who is often called
Prof. Pastika. He has studied at Australia National University, earned a Master
of Science degree at Hasanuddin University, Makasar and is now a Professor at
the Indonesian Literature Study Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Udayana
University.

The speaker at this Public Lecture was Professor of
Malay-Indonesian Study Program, from Hankuk
University of Foreign Studies, Prof. Dr. Koh Young Hun. He has been in the
world of astra since the '70s. There are
several works that he made with several literary activists such as, writing
biographies and analysis of Pram's works, entitled Pramoedya Menggugat: Tracing the Traces of Indonesia in 2011,
writing kumpulan short stories entitled Laut and Kupu-K upu in
2007.

Trial Session
Prof. Dr. Koh Young Hun and several people from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, created
an AI Chatbot to make it easier for students to learn Indonesian.
The AI Chatbot created is called EDEE. This bot aims to
make it easier for people who want to learn Indonesian to Korean or Korean to
Indonesian. The use of this chatbot can be accessed through the Telegram
application.

The trial session of the Chatbot application became
the closing of this Umun Lecture activity. The participants were seen to be
intrigued by the material that had been given. Hopefully in the future AI
Chatbot can be useful and make it easier for people who want to learn
