On Friday, December 22, 2023, as many as 25 foreign students from the Indonesian Language Program for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) took part in a farewell ceremony and certificate presentation in the Ir room. Soekarno, Poerbatjarakan Building, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Udayana University. This event is a form of farewell for BIPA students who have completed one semester of education at FIB Unud. The event was also attended by Deputy Dean I FIB Unud, BIPA Program Coordinator, BIPA teaching staff, lecturers, and students of the Indonesian Literature Study Program FIB Unud.

The event was combined with cultural performances in the form of Janger dance performances and short dramas performed by BIPA students. Even though they are not as good as the original dancers, foreign students' interest in Indonesian culture, especially Balinese, can be applauded. “We enjoy studying with BIPA, the lecturers are very good. "The cultural class was also very fun, my friends and I learned to dance Janger and we enjoyed it," said Naho, a BIPA student representative, he knew this in his short speech.

Naho added that "while learning Indonesian, he increasingly liked the culture in Indonesia, especially Bali. "Both from regular classes and cultural classes, he also appreciated the performance of every lecturer who worked hard and well when teaching, so that all students responded enthusiastically when the performance was held."

Meanwhile, the FIB Unud BIPA Program Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Drs. I Nyoman Suparwa, M.Hum., said "He is very proud and happy with the achievements made by all his students. He also emphasized that every good incident that occurs at BIPA can be remembered and if there is anything unpleasant, please forgive." The same thing was also conveyed by Deputy Dean I FIB Unud, Dr. I Gede Oeinada, S.S., M.Hum., who advised: "that BIPA students can learn as much as possible and make BIPA a comfortable place to study so that whatever is given can provide future benefits for all students".
