Closing of the BIPA Program at Udayana University: Celebrating the Success of International Students
Denpasar, June 28, 2024 - The Faculty of Cultural Sciences at Udayana University held a closing ceremony and certificate presentation for the students of the Indonesian Language Program for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) at the Widya Sabha Mandala Auditorium. This event marked the achievement of 28 students who have completed the BIPA program this semester, making it a moment of pride and joy.
The students who graduated come from various levels:
- Level 1: 6 students
- Level 2: 13 students
- Level 3: 9 students
- Darmasiswa: 4 students
- China: 5 students
These students hail from various countries, creating a learning environment rich in cultural diversity. They come from:
- Japan
- South Korea
- Poland
- Sweden
- China
- The Netherlands
The event was attended by lecturers, academic staff, as well as the families and friends of the students. In his speech, the Dean of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences at Udayana University expressed deep appreciation for the hard work and dedication of the students in learning Indonesian language and culture. One of the most captivating moments was a Gong Kebyar Bali performance by the BIPA students, which mesmerized the audience with its charm.
BIPA students Nanoko and Yumiko also shared their experiences, expressing their gratitude for the learning opportunity provided and the valuable experiences they gained during the program. They represented the voices of their peers, expressing pride and joy for the achievements they have attained.
With the completion of this program, graduates are expected to apply the knowledge they have acquired and strengthen cultural ties between Indonesia and their home countries. The event concluded with a group photo session and social gathering, leaving sweet memories for all attendees.
